Beauty Trends | Runway inspired beauty trends for Summer!

I was very excited when I was asked to participate in a Beauty Video segment with Anokhi Daily Spotlight TV. The team at Anokhi were wonderful to work with and we had a lot of fun shooting this segment together.  

It was an amazing learning opportunity for me to see what it takes to put together a segment. From shooting from the correct angles, adjusting for the best lighting set-up, to retaining an energetic tone through various takes, seeing it all behind-the-scenes made for an incredible experience. A big thanks to Anokhi along with Daniel Pillai & Shobana Lakkavally!

NFL Makeup Looks - Ravens vs. 49ers!

In honour of the 2013 SUPERBOWL, I thought it would be fun to share eyeshadow looks that feature the 2 teams playing today!  These looks follow the theme of NFL related eyeshadow looks that I did a while ago on the blog, click here to check them out too!

I have listed the products that I used to create these NFL looks. All the products used are from Vasanti Cosmetics!

Lid - Wonders of the World Concealer - O2 

Outer Corner - Eye Base - Kajal Extreme Intense Eye Pencil

Brow Bone - Light shade from Golden Temple Eye Shadow Duo

Inner to Mid Lid - Mineral Shimmer Powder in Bronze Age (Lined underneath the lash line)

Outer Lid - Mineral Shimmer Powder in Twilight (Lined underneath the lash line)

Waterline & Lower Lash line - Kajal Extreme Intense Eye Pencil

Top Liner - Kajal Extreme Intense Eye Pencil + Cleopatra Liquid Liner

Lashes - Conditioning Long Lash Mascara

**Quick Tip - Bolder Pigment** By using Kajal Extreme as a base on the eye lid, when you apply the Shimmer Powder, the colour naturally intensifies on application.  Please note, I only applied Kajal Extreme to the outer corner only.

Waterline & Lower Lash line - Kajal Extreme Intense Eye Pencil

Top Liner - Kajal Extreme Intense Eye Pencil + Cleopatra Liquid Liner

Lashes - Conditioning Long Lash Mascara

 **Quick Tip  - Black Lined Eyes ** Using Kajal Extreme to line the eyes and extending the line with the smudger, to help set, use the Liquid Liner in Cleopatra on top for added intensity.
